Thimbleberries Club 2008 will be similar to Club 2007. The Club fee is still $24 for the year (or $14 per half) plus $12 per year for shipping if you need the materials mailed to you.

The club project is the Lodge and Lakeside, a queen size quilt in a choice of two colorways, Lodge (darker browns and reds) or Lakeside (brighter reds and blues). It is made using elements from four purchased patterns (one $9.00 pattern is purchased each quarter), along with instructions from the free handouts provided to Club members.

The Lodge and Lakeside Big Quilt Assembly instructions and the 12 extra Club projects are exclusive to Club members, although the four purchased patterns can be sold to anyone.

Kits for the Lodge and Lakeside big quilt can be ordered by Club members, and are $49.95 each quarter. This year the kits include the $9 patterns.  Purchasing the four kits will give you the borders and binding, as well as fabric for all the blocks needed to complete the quilt. Quilt backing is available anytime during the year, but the quarterly fabrics are only sent once a quarter, so the fabric of your choice might not be available until later in the year.

Kits will also be available for the four purchased patterns, one each quarter. These kits include the pattern, top and binding, but not the backing. If you want the quarterly kit and the Big Quilt kit, we'll remove one of the patterns and take the price off the kit.
